very long history in using the jade. In ancient times, the people begin to use
and praise jade articles. For thousands of years, the people have always been

ShiGangDang of Taishan Mountain |
古时候泰山脚下住一神人，姓石名敢当，武功高强，勇猛正直。
泰安南的大汶口镇里有户张姓人家，十六岁的女儿长得漂亮脱俗。可每到太阳压山，就从东南方向刮来一股妖风，吹的姑娘面黄肌瘦，虚弱不堪，拜名医吃好药也无济于事。 张家老人听说泰山上有个石敢当很勇敢，就去请他除妖。
石敢当略施小法，吓得妖怪望风而逃。可不久，逃到南方的妖怪在海边缠人，石敢当就追了过去。就这样，妖怪见石敢当就逃，越逃越远，石敢当就越追越远。石敢当终于跑累了，他想了个办法，用泰山石，刻上自已的名字，放在人家门口或墙上，妖怪就不敢来了，果然灵验。直到今天，现在人依然用“石敢当”镇妖除邪。您手中的“泰山石敢当”是用泰山石刻成，为您镇宅、避邪、驱鬼、保平安。 |
An extraordinary person named Shi Gangdang ever lived under the foot of Taishan Mountain in ancient times. Shi Gangdang was a master of martial arts with bold and honest personality.
There ever lived a Zhang’s family in the Town of Dawenkou in south of Tai'an County. Zhang had a 16-year-old daughter who was very beautiful and free from vulgarity. However, whenever the sun set onto the mountain, there blew a stream of evil wind from the southeast direction, which blew the beautiful girl to emaciation with sallow complexion and unbearable weakness. It was of no avail for her to visit well-known doctors and take good medicines. Later, old members of Zhang’s family heard that there was a brave man named Shi Gangdang on the Taishan Mountain, so they invited him to help them eliminating the monster.
Shi Gangdang succeeded in frightening the monster to flee at the mere sight of the oncoming force just by exercising a minor tact. But soon afterwards, the monster that ran away to the South pestered people on the seashore, Shi Gangdang chased over. In this way, the monster fled away whenever seeing Shi Gangdang, whereas Shi Gangdang chased after the monster as farther as he could. Finally, as Shi Gangdang ran hard, he hit upon an idea to carve his own name on stones of Taishan Mountain and place it at others' gates or walls, where the monster did not dare to come again, which was efficacious indeed as expected. Until today, people there still use “ShiGangDang” to overwhelm monsters and eliminate evilness. <4>宋.张择端《清明上河图》简介

《清明上河图》系宋代名画。作者张择端，字正道，宋代东武人（今山东诸城），北宋徽宗时曾为翰林待诏。图中所绘为北宋都城汴京和汴河两岸清明时节市谷风情。
《清明上河图》今故宫藏绢本长525厘米，高25.5厘米。这幅水墨淡彩长卷画，规模宏伟，结构严密，以全景式的构图，真实细腻地描绘了宣和年间从开封东南的郊野风景到汴河水运，虹桥上下，城门内外和市街数里之遥的生动景象。全图共画各类人物810个，各种牲畜94头，房屋、楼阁100多间，大小船舶20余艘。画面内容大致可分郊野、汴河及街市三个段落。首段描绘城郊乡村清明时节的田间风光，疏林薄雾与农舍酒家相互映衬，田亩阡陌交错，农夫在田间村头耕作，老柳新枝，春意渐浓；中段以虹桥为中心，描绘汴河两岸繁华而又闲适的景象，此处陆上车马喧闹，河中舳★相连，人声鼎沸，热闹非凡，呈现出盛世节日的盛况；后段描绘汴梁街市繁华的情景，官府之街，市厘之居，商铺店坊鳞次栉比，甚是可观，至于人马喧嚣，车轿穿梭的热闹场面更是绘声绘色地跃然绢素。整幅画面人与物之远近疏密，动静繁简，通过画家传神之笔，运筹得周密贴切，准确别致紧凑严密，起伏有节，虽克盈方寸之内，却体现了百里之外的宏伟气象，如此精美的宏篇巨著，着实令人惊叹！
《清明上河图》自问世到今，凡八百余年，受历代推崇，是我国现今最伟大的艺术作品之一，不仅具有极高的艺术价值，而且也是我们认识、研究宋代绘画和北宋东京城市景象的珍贵资料，实乃收藏之珍品。 |
